About The Art<\/h3>\n

\u200bThe Butler\u2019s Area Artists Annual is a juried exhibition that includes selected artworks in all media submitted by artists residing in Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties in Ohio; and Mercer and Lawrence counties in Pennsylvania. Works include paintings in oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, drawings, prints, photographs, ceramics, sculpture and crafts. Juror for this year\u2019s exhibition is Russell Maddick, Professor Emeritus from the Department of Art at Youngstown State University. Accepted works will be on view at the Butler Trumbull Branch in Warren, Ohio.\u00a0To request a prospectus for future artwork submissions, email\u00a0Jean Shreffler at library@butlerart.com\u00a0with your mailing address\u00a0or call 330.743.1107 ext. 1312 to be put on the mailing list.<\/p>\n

Of the 95 artists who entered 193 pieces total, there were 92 pieces selected from 70 artists accepted into the show.<\/p>\n
