ARTIST STATEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m much more of an observant person, I watch and listen more than I talk, and with photography I really benefit from that. The pictures I\u2019ve chosen here, for this gallery, were a toss-up of the more \u201cartistic\u201d and the more typical nature or animal shot, but it was very difficult choosing which ones to use. I don\u2019t think that some are better than others, I wanted to use ones that overall represent me as a person.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m a firm believer that editing is not necessary for my photography, all my pictures are unedited. I use the lighting and the surroundings provided to me to capture my vision.<\/p>\n

My overall goal of my photography is to showcase the small details that people overlook, to show a different side of things and how to see things differently.<\/p>\n

ARTIST BIO:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Born in Layton Utah, raised in Poland Ohio. Parker started out with an old Canon Rebel XT that he got from his sister. He would regularly go on small hikes with his friends to Mill Creek, Nelson Ledges, and McConnell Mills, taking pictures of anything, furthering the passion of photography. Not long after this, he got a new camera, deciding to photograph cars, nature, and mainly birds.<\/p>\n

Birds were the most challenging but most rewarding. Going great lengths to get the right pictures, from crawling in the mud, wading in a creek, or freezing in the snow, nothing was too much. Many of these trips resulted in a few photographs shown here. One of which was published by the National Audubon Society in their latest Bird Behaviors article.<\/p>\n
