Ok, just one item up right now but the Etsy shop is open! I promise I will get more stuff up there soon.

I’m in the process of setting a store up on Etsy, let you know when I am up and running. I need to get some better photos of my art & jewelry and maybe take a trip to the post office to see the standard sizes of the flat rate boxes. Pretty excited to get this going.
I do well for a while and post lots of stuff then I let it laps. Sorry about that. I fell into jewelry making and I fell hard. Totally obsessed with it actually. I have used my photos and been making pendants. They are turning out pretty nice if I do say so myself. I will have to get a few posted on here. Might be setting up a store on Etsy (will keep you posted on that).Â
There is something new I would like to post for your viewing pleasure…
This my crow drawing done as an image transfer on Plexi glass. I didn’t think this was going to turn out because when I first started taking the paper off, the paint was coming off the plexi. I left it alone for a week or so then went back to it, took my time, and was able to get it to turn out. Hooray for that and I will try to post some of my jewelry on here later.
I attempted to do that butterfly transfer on glass and it was a failure. The acrylic paint pulls off the glass when you try to remove the excess paper from the transfer image. So, now I know.
I moved on to this baby…
I was going to do this as am image transfer then decided to draw it on instead. It is not finished yet, I want to make the tree a little “meatier”. But, it is close and I am very much in love with it. May be one that goes up in my house, unless someone wants to make an offer… =o)
This is my next image transfer. I got the basic butterfly shape from a stock image site (I know, I’m a cheater) but then I gave it my own touches. This guy is going to be sandwiched between two pieces of glass. I think I’m going to go with earth tones for the background.
Another caulk image transfer. Tried this on a watercolor board, please note the bottom right side. If you try to rub the paper off and press too hard, the acrylic will start to come off the panel. Good to know. Also when I look at this it looks like all the paper is off, but when I brought the photo of it up in photoshop you can clearly see how much paper I missed. Wierd.
I do like the image though. I may try this one again on a wood panel because I think those work better for an image transfer than the watercolor board.
I just posted some pictures of my cousins baby Ruthie.  Ruthie is the one who had to have a heart transplant. I’m so in love with that little miracle baby. She is also wonderful to take pictures of, so full of life. I just had to share them. Enjoy!

I am very much in a pencil drawing mood the past couple weeks. Going to be doing a lot more of this I think. I’m having a great time with it! Back to basics, baby. =o)
This is one of my favorite photos from my photo shoot with the girls. I think this group of photos may be some of the best I have ever taken. I used to stay away from taking pictures of people but after shooting these ladies, I want to take many more pictures of people!

Took these ladies to a gutted house today for a couple of hours and did some photos. It was just what I needed. They were/are so pretty and the raw, gutted house around these very delicate girls turned out so nice. I have a little over 400 photos to go through so the album may take a couple days to get together but it will be up very soon!Â
I want to say thank you so very much to my models/friends! It was super fun and it will happen again very soon.
